The Mission Ministry of
Christ the King Catholic Church
HOPE: Helping Organizations Provide & Empower
CTK Mission Outreach Program
Our HOPE Program allows Christ the King Parish to connect with the community by donating, volunteering, and offering support services
hOPE Carts
Donation Station located in the Vestibule of Christ the King
Place your donated items on our HOPE Carts, and we will deliver them to the charitable organizations in our community. The monthly HOPE/MOMS Pantry List has the most requested items, or you can view the full lists provided to us by our Mission Partners.
Food Programs
Food is our Number One requested item
Food Insecurity is affecting more and more people every day, and food assistance has become our most requested item. We have several ways to help: The Mission Food Box on the HOPE Carts collects nonperishable items to be distributed to food pantries and individuals in our area, MOMS Pantry makes once a month collections for Helping Hand, HOPE Sacks and Boxes can be packed at home, and once COVID restrictions life, our Mission Food Team, Betty's Brigade, will be our source for home-cooked meals. We encourage you to join us as we help fight hunger in our community.
hOPE Projects
HOPE Projects are ways to donate and serve from home
We currently have two HOPE Projects. To make HOPE Soap, you simply slice a regular bar of soap into eight slices and put them in the provided bags for us to deliver to Jericho Way. HOPE Sacks are gallon sized ziploc bags of nonperishable food that can be distributed as needed throughout the community. HOPE Boxes (or Grocery Sacks) are similar to HOPE Sacks, but they contain nonperishable food that needs hot water, stove, microwave, etc.
