The Mission of Settled Souls is “To aid homeless men and women transitioning to permanent housing, by providing many of the staple home furnishings, and helping their new apartment or house feel more like a secure and welcoming home.”
Settled Souls partners primarily with Jericho Way and Our House - they are the referral agencies for the recipients of our household furnishings and supplies. Additional partner organizations help support the mission as well:
Pax Christi Little Rock - helps with a starter food pantry for each recipient
Penske Truck - helps by providing trucks for transporting the goods
A team from Immaculate Conception helps with cleaning supplies
Our Lady of the Holy Souls and Christ the King help with meeting spaces
Settled Souls is a 501(c)3 that was started in 2016 by a group from Holy Souls, based on the need identified by Jericho Way. The initial operations & move team was a group of volunteers across multiple faith-based organizations.
In 2021, a second move team was added from CTK to help balance the load of how many moves they were doing annually.
